Teen Cafes To Build the Youth Thrive TM Protective/ Promotive Factors

Series of five, 90 minute Teen Cafes, one on each Youth Thrive Protective / Promotive Factor. Teen cafes are informal but highly-structured small-group conversations (based on the World Cafe Model) that promotes peer-to-peer learning and deep individual self-reflection. Through the Teen Cafe series, teens learn the importance of each protective factor as well as practical ways to build them in their own lives. As a result, teens learn the importance of each protective factor as well as practical ways to build them in their own lives. Teens are also empowered, informed, and energized about their journey to adulthood. The structure provided by the Cafe agreements ensures a safe environment for participants to build life skills and explore their challenges and opportunities.

  1. Hello,

I am a strengthening families coordinator in Philadelphia, PA. We are having a Teen Cafe next month and I would like to find out more about Youth Thrive. Are there cafe cards for a teen cafe as well?
